Hotel Victoria Playa

We stayed for 3 nights and had a half-board food option. The breakfast was good, there were fried eggs, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, grilled tomatoes, also continental breakfast options like hams, cheese, butter, jams lots of bread options and cereals. The dinner was very good, there was never a repeat in 3 days we were there and in addition to traditional Spanish dishes there was a speciality table, we had Chinese on the first day, seafood on the second and burgers/KFC style chicken on 3rd day. The swimming pool was not very busy and the kids enjoyed the slide. The room was clean and has been cleaned every day. The cocktails were reasonably priced and you were allowed to take them into the swimming pool area in the plastic glass, just tell the barmen "para piscina". The hotel is only 5 min walk from the beach.

We have stayed here before so knew what to expect and we weren’t disappointed. The staff are superb, nothing is too much trouble, the hotel is clean and spacious. Food is brilliant and there is a wide variety and choice at all sittings - even going in later there was still plenty of food available.

Breakfast and location was good. Dinner was very nice with plenty of options...however we were a little annoyed water was provided free at breakfast but not at dinner and the coffee machine should have been available at dinner

Staff in the dinning room and reception were excellent they helped us so much an excellent place to stay in Almunecar Spain.

It was very clean. The food from the restaurant was very good.
